The Nuclear Deja Vu

Perimeter is a holdover from the Soviet Union. The Russians built it after believing the US planned a secret nuclear attack in 1983. One designed to decapitate Soviet command-and-control capabilities. An attack never happened. The US had no intention of starting a nuclear war. However, fear of the incident drove the Russians to build a dead-hand system. A mechanism to retaliate in the event Soviet leadership ceased to exist. If the system detects an attack, it launches a missile to travel the length of Russia, signaling all land-based ICBMs to rocket toward preset targets.

The Russian Federation took control of Perimeter in 1992, and anti-West bias soon worked its way into the programming. Perimeter is poised to start a war at the slightest provocation. And Russia has armed it with the latest hypersonic missile.

Dan Nadler retired from government service, but is working as a contractor, helping to evaluate signals intelligence. He discovers Perimeter is on the edge of starting World War III. Already behind the curve, Dan Nadler must play catch up and find a solution to a problem no one knows exists. Take the journey with this old soldier for one last attempt to save the world from itself. Dan Nadler returns in the exciting conclusion of The Nuclear View trilogy, and the stakes could not be higher.
