During the Cold War, the US maintained tactical nuclear devices at remote sites throughout West Germany to counter a massive Warsaw Pact invasion.
The 102nd US Army Field Artillery Detachment (USAFAD), known as the Ten-Two-Zoo, is one of those sites. The soldiers train daily to rapidly deploy the nuclear projectiles, detect Soviet and East German spies, counter highly motivated terrorist groups, and destroy the weapons to prevent them from falling into enemy hands.
Anna, a beautiful German anti-nuclear activist, seduces PFC Dixon, a disgruntled soldier at the Zoo. She recruits Dixon into the most dangerous terrorist organization in Europe, the Revolutionary Cells. With Dixon’s help, the terrorists devise a plan to steal a nuke from the isolated outpost.
Another member of the Zoo, Private Dan Nadler, finds himself drawn into the dangerous situation. The fate of Europe hangs in the balance. Nadler will do whatever it takes to prevent a nuclear catastrophe. But is the inexperienced young soldier up to the challenge?
